DUCTED PROPELLERS-DESIGN THEORY
The propeller is calculated by lifting line theory with correction factors for lifting surface effects. A computer program has been developed which allows ducted propellers to be designed with this theory in the same way as for conventional wake-adapted propellers. This program is described separately in NSFI-I-report No. R-78.78 "Ducted propellers - Computer program". Order from NSFI as No. 19032.
