LLOYD'S NAUTICAL YEAR BOOK

Formerly Lloyd's Calendar, this hardback publication is claimed to be the annual maritime almanac. New articles covering a wide range of nautical affairs have been included; another novelty is the Year Book's directory of international maritime organisations. Also contained in the almanac are: an anatomy of Lloyd's, its history and traditions, plus lists of brokers and agents; an insight into the subject of cargo carriage and salvage; several historical, technical, medical, legal and offshore articles for every taste, and fully illustrated; a safety-at-sea section, with full details of the coastguard, R.N.L.I., and AMVER services, plus the Collision Regulations reproduced in full. Finally, a comprehensive set of tables and data are included on shipping terms, abbreviations, currencies, distances between ports, and a full list of M.Notices and Statutory Instruments currently in force.
