ECOROADS voor eenvormig beheer van de verkeersveiligheid op wegen en in tunnels

As a member of the European Forum of road research laboratories (FEHRL) the OCW participates in the ECOROADS (Effective and Coordinated Road Infrastructure Safety Operations) project. The aim is to bridge the potential gap between the European Directives 2008/96/EC (management of road infrastructure safety) and 2004/54/EC (minimum safety requirements for tunnels in the trans-European road Network). This means that in tunnels you cannot apply the same road safety audits and inspections as are applied to roads.
