The 7th Fit to Drive-Congress in Berlin

The Fit to Drive-Conference from the 25th to 26th of April 2013 in Berlin was the seventh congress since 2006 dealing with traffic related topics from different points of view. The congress was a great opportunity for traffic psychologists, sociologists, traffic physicians, traffic researchers and political representatives to discuss possibilities to enhance traffic safety in Europe. The various topics this year ranged from driving education, new research findings and models about the fitness to drive and medical issues, senior drivers, accident research, new vehicle devices, different kinds of demerit point systems, ways of assessment and rehabilitation for traffic offenders, state of and differences in education for psychologists in several countries.
