3D Laser Sensor Vehicle and Pedestrians Detection Device
The three dimensional (3D) laser sensor is a high-speed figure recognition system that measures the position and speed of objects in real time. It can function despite poor weather conditions as it works by measuring the distance to an object with a laser pulse. By applying 3D laser sensor for use in road and rail traffic safety, IHI has realized a system that can measure the position and speeds of vehicles and pedestrians.
