Aviation Weather Capability Assessment
The focus of this document is to summarize the relevant information on the key weather products used in the National Airspace System (NAS) today that are within scope of the Federal Aviation Administration Concept Analysis Branch’s (ANG-C41) Weather Requirements Validation Methodology. The document identifies and describes these products and their context to air traffic management. It is a preliminary input to the development of simulation scenarios to evaluate the impact of these technologies in the NAS.
