The Strain Field Model and its Modification of Semi-rigid Asphalt Pavement with Graded Granular Interlayer
In order to model the strain distribution field of semi-rigid asphalt pavement with a graded gravel interlayer, both numerical simulations and field tests are conducted. Through numerical simulations with different interface conditions and axles, in which the constitutive model is stress dependent, the strain model is obtained. At the same time, an experiment road with a length of 200 meters is built in field in Shandong province and with the strain detectors buried in the road, strains under different axle loads are also obtained. The simulated strain model was statistically tested for significance and factors having significant influence on pavement strain are obtained.
