THE EXPERIENCE IS ILLUSTRATED WHICH HAS BEEN GATHERED BY THE LNEC ON CARRYING OUT 387 DILATOMETER TESTS, CONTRIBUTED BY 9 PROGRAMS SPANNING A WIDE RANGE OF ENGINEERING INTERESTS.
