brivel – A Framework for Mobility Information Platforms
The focus of this paper is the presentation of brivel, a design and software framework. brivel is developed by Fluidtime and serves as the basis for efficient implementation and operation of mobility information services on different server and mobile platforms. The flexible architecture in combination with continuous updates of the framework ensures an efficient information and communication management. This guarantees that information is collated, processed and made available, within an organization and to external parties. Within this paper the architecture of brivel will be described in addition to a sample application where the benefits of brivel will be exemplified. The so-called Kongressnavigator, has been especially developed for ITS World Congress 2012 in Vienna for iPhone, Android and mobile web.
