TrafficCheck.at--an online feedback platform for traffic lights

This article profiles TrafficCheck, an online feedback platform for evaluating traffic signalized junctions from a user's point of view. With this system, road users can give structured feedback on traffic quality and safety using on-site smartphones and internet. The article describes the process of developing the platform and its main features, which include the ability to easily handle fault reports an complaints and therefore reduce administration workload. A test application of the platform will be integrated into the city administration's quality management system in Graz, allowing it to measure and track user satisfaction over time and ultimately optimize traffic management systems.
