Accommodating Oversize and Overweight Loads: Instructor and Student Guide (CD-ROM)
This CD-ROM contains a PDF of the instructor and student guide designed to guide the instructor in conveying information at the district level concerning Research Project 0-6404 “Accommodating Oversize and Overweight Loads.” The specific information focuses on the Bryan District but could be adapted to other districts. As part of Research Project 0-6404, the research team processed and mapped a massive dataset of oversize/overweight (OS/OW) permit routes into a GIS format. This instructor and student guide presents the objectives of the project along with some of the findings in tabular and graphical formats. It also briefly covers the methodology used to gather and process the information gathered from the Motor Carrier Division and industry stakeholders.
