The Hawthorn traffic management scheme - a case study
This report describes investigations carried out in a graduate coursework unit which sought to examine, as a case study, the development and design of traffic management schemes, during the period January 1970 to January 1981, for a residential area in hawthorn, Victoria. Several aspects of the topic were covered including historical development, key issues during the study period, community participation and reaction to several implemented schemes (a).
