Stability analysis of a weak slope against toppling failure
In this paper the results of an investigation into the mechanism of secondary toppling failure of rock slopes are discussed with specific reference to a rock slope failure in the grose valley of New South Wales. The geological influences such as weathering and creep are taken into account in the finite element analysis. The geological features of the investigated area, the finite element modelling and the results of the analysis are described.
