Trials of farside pedestrian signals at a Puffin crossing
This report discusses a study exploring the relative merits of both nearside and farside pedestrian signal placements at puffin pedestrian crossings in the United Kingdom. It is determined that farside placement has either no or a negative effect on pedestrian crossing safety, and the typical nearside placement is the preferred choice.
