Pavement surface characteristics
Povrchove vlastnosti vozovek
The article deals with problems of road diagnostic concerning the pavement surface characteristics range as well as the evaluation of road net technological state considered as and essential systems of road economy input. It offers a brief outline of diagnostical technology as used in the Czech Republic and also a survey of relevant quidelines and standards as well as a link on economy systems and roads. In the article a notice of intention concerning present situation in the sofar neglected area, which could create relatively high financial means savings, is mentioned. The area, that is to say, provides efficient methods which could be very useful for multiple maintenance, repair and reconstruction plans of the Czech road net.
