STABILIZATION OF GRAVEL WITH A SLAG BINDER
UKPREPLENIE GRAVIJNO-PESCHANYKH SMESEJ SHLAKOVYM VYAZHUSHCHIM
THE AUTHORS PRESENT THE RESULTS OF LABORATORY TESTS AND OF TESTS ON A ROAD SECTION ON GRAVEL STABILIZED WITH A BINDER CONTAINING CRUSHED PHOSPHOROUS GRANULATED SLAG AND CEMENT-OVEN POWDER. AFTER 6 MONTH HARDENING AT A TEMPERATURE BETWEEN -10 AND 0 DEG C, THE STRENGTH REACHES 400 BARS. AFTER THAW THE STRENGTH EXCEEDS THAT OBTAINED AT THE SAME AGE IN NORMAL AGEING CONDITIONS.
