POST-CRACKING TORSIONAL RIGIDITY OF REINFORCED CONCRETE SECTIONS
IN STATICALLY INDETERMINATE STRUCTURES TORSIONAL MOMENTS CAN BE DETERMINED ONLY IF THE TORSIONAL STIFFNESS OF REINFORCED CONCRETE MEMBERS ARE KNOWN. THIS PAPER PRESENTS A THEORY FOR POSTCRACKING TORSIONAL RIGIDITY, WHICH IS DEVELOPED USING A NEW CONCEPT OF POST-CRACKING SHEAR MODULUS. THIS NEW CONCEPT RENDERS THE THEORY GENERALLY APPLICABLE TO ARBITRARY CROSS SECTIONS AS WELL AS SIMPLIFIES THE DERIVATION OF POST-CRACKING TORSIONAL RIGIDITY. /AUTHOR/
