CREEP WITH SIMULTANEOUS SHRINKAGE IN HARDENED CEMENT PASTE /IN GERMAN/
A FORMULA IS PRESENTED GIVING THE RATE OF DEFORMATION AS A FUNCTION OF SHRINKAGE STRESS AND EXTERNAL STRESS. THE EXTERNAL STRESS IN THE EQUATION IS EXPRESSED BY A SUM. IF THE RATE OF DEFORMATION OF A NON-LOADED SPECIMEN IS USED TO ESTABLISH SHRINKAGE STRESS, THE CREEP IN A SPECIMEN DRYING UNDER LOAD CAN BE DETERMINED BY THE RELATION ESTABLISHED. MEASUREMENTS WERE CARRIED OUT ON HARDENED CEMENT PASTES WITH WATER/CEMENT RATIOS 0.3 AND 0.65 AND WERE COMPARED WITH THE THEORY. THE CONSTANTS DEPENDENT ON TIME WERE DETERMINED, BY USING EXPERIMENTAL RESULTS, FOR THE TWO WATER/CEMENT RATIOS, FOR TWO DIFFERENT LENGTHS OF TIME. THE INTERVENING SHRINKAGE STRESS WAS GIVEN AS A FUNCTION OF TEST DURATION. /RRL/LCPC/ A/
