MULTIDISCIPLINARY ACCIDENT INVESTIGATION TEAM--BOSTON UNIVERSITY

The report analyzes 22 multidisciplinary highway accident investigations. On-scene and/or subsequent investigations of 22 accidents (each involving at least 1 fatality), from 9/1/70 through 9/30/71 involving 30 vehicles and a total of 67 occupants. A description of methodology is given; trends are discussed; standards are evaluated; conclusions and recommedations are given. A copy of the summary and collision diagram for each of the 22 cases is included.
