STUDY OF THE RESISTANCE OF LIGHTWEIGHT CONCRETE TO CORROSION
RESULTS ARE PRESENTED OF A COMPARATIVE STUDY OF STANDARD CONCRETE AND KERAMSITE LIGHTWEIGHT CONCRETE CONTAINING VARIOUS CLASSES OF CEMENT SUBJECTED TO CORROSION TESTS IN THE FOLLOWING MEDIA: CONCENTRATED UREA SOLUTIONS, POTASSIUM CHLORIDE, AMMONIUM SULPHATE AND NITRATE. RESULTS SHOW THAT LIGHTWEIGHT CONCRETES ARE MORE STABLE IN SALINE AND SULPHATED MEDIA. /IRF/
