THE RANGE OF INTERNAL VIBRATORS /IN RUSSIAN/
A METHOD IS PRESENTED FOR CALCULATING THE EFFECTIVE RANGE OF INTERNAL VIBRATORS USED FOR CONCRETE VIBRATION. THIS METHOD IS BASED ON THE PRINCIPLE OF CIRCULAR WAVE PROPAGATION IN A VISCOUS MEDIUM. THE DAMPING COEFFICIENT VALUE WAS EXPERIMENTALLY ESTABLISHED AS A FUNCTION OF VIBRATION FREQUENCY; THE AMPLITUDE GRADIENT NEAR THE VIBRATOR'S SURFACE WAS EVALUATED AS A FUNCTION OF THE AMPLITUDE OF VIBRATIONS OF THE VIBRATOR. A GRAPH IS GIVEN WHICH SHOWS THE DAMPING OF CIRCULAR WAVES AS A FUNCTION OF THE DAMPING COEFFICIENT. /LCPC/RRL/
