BIBLIOGRAPHY OF THE NAVAL ARCTIC RESEARCH LAB

The publication is a bibliography of writings that have evolved from work conducted at, or assisted by, the Naval Arctic Research Laboratory at Barrow, Alaska. It contains 2,426 entries, spanning the years 1948 to 1972. The bibliography is arranged in two parts. Part I contains the bibliographic entries, listed alphabetically by author, and Part II is a cross-index of authors. Of the 2,426 entries, 1,747 were verified from copies or reprints of the original publication; 301 were verified from Arctic Bibliography; 248 were verified by authors who responded to a survey by the Arctic Institute of North America; and 130 were obtained from various sources but were otherwise not verified.
