INVESTIGATION INTO MECHANICAL PHENOMENA IN PAVEMENTS AND BITUMINOUS MIXTURES /IN FRENCH/
METHODS USED IN CONTINUOUS MEDIUM MECHANICS IN THE STUDY OF PHENOMENA IN PAVEMENTS ARE RECALLED. ELECTRONIC CALCULATION BY THE FINITE DIFFERENCE METHOD GIVES GOOD RESULTS WITH REGARD TO THE EFFECT OF INCLINED LOADS (BRAKING VEHICLES), INFLUENCE OF BOND AT LAYER INTERFACE, DIRECTION OF PARTICLE MOVEMENTS, AND VARIATIONS IN STRESSED CAUSED BY MOVING LOADS.
