Transportation Performance Index: Complete Technical Report - Measuring and Benchmarking Infrastructure Performance

This report details the creation of a transportation performance index to measure transportation infrastructure performance in the United States. The transportation performance index is designed to correlate with economic performance indicators. It is meant to reflect the transportation performance ability to meet the needs of businesses that aim for economic prosperity. Transportation performance, for the whole nation, is tracked from 1990-2008; and state-by-state values are reported for 1995, 2000 and 2007. Values are also forecast for the nation, and each state, for the year 2015.
