Study on Temperature Segregation Standards of Asphalt Mixture Pavement
Infrared thermograph was used to record surface temperature distribution for asphalt mixture pavement construction, then the analysis was conductedin accordance with NCAT standards, which shows the lack of conditions ofthose standards.After the measurement of temperature field in the process of compaction,it is found that the three indexes including the range, standard deviation and coefficient of ,variation reflect the temperature segregation variation.The results showed that, the construction quality depends on interaction of temperature, compaction and type of asphalt mixture; the establishment of temperature segregation standards have dynamic, multi-factors and conditional characteristics; the standard is dynamic along with the compaction phase, the temperature segregation reduced when the compaction and temperature is harmonious, otherwise the segregation increased. Base on the parameters measured in the construction, the model was proposed for the corresponding process control and segregation standard determination.
