CONTINUOUS TRAFFIC COUNTS IN URBAN AREAS
REGELBUNDNA, MASKINELLA TRAFIKRAEKNINGAR I TAETORT
The purpose of this report is to raise the level of knowledge partly regarding the employment of traffic count methods, and partly in regard to the accuracy that can be obtained by the use of the various methods. The report was preceded by experimental work conducted in two communities, Eskilstuna (medium sized city) and Koeping (small). The results of these studies are included in the report. In addition to that, the report is based on material obtained from cities much experienced in the use of traffic count methods, and from the Traffic Count Department of the national Swedish Road Administration. /TRRL/
