Atlantic Interoperability Initiative to Reduce Emissions (AIRE): Industry Kick Off Meeting
The Atlantic interoperability initiative to reduce emissions (AIRE) is part of the Next Generation Air Transportation System (NextGen). Environmental constraints to aviation growth are real and looming. AIRE allows FAA to address near term issues with a stepping stone approach and lay the foundation for the future. The ultimate goal is innovative solutions that offer environmental protection and system efficiencies.
