Research of UHF Band Wireless Communications for Vehicle-to-Vehicle and Vehicle-to-Roadside of Vehicle-Infrastructure Cooperation System in Urban Area
At first an outline of cooperative vehicle-infrastructure systems and current R&D activities in Japan for the near future implementations will be described. In the latter half of this paper, specifications for the UHF band wireless communications testing system aiming at an ideal vehicle- infrastructure cooperation system for the future will be described. And some interesting field evaluation results of vehicle to vehicle and roadside to vehicle in urban area by using UHF band will be provided.
