Guide to Mode Shift Revenue Support (MSRS) Scheme
This guide presents the processes and criteria necessary to apply for grant support from the Mode Shift Revenue Support (MSRS) scheme. MSRS helps companies with costs relating to operating inland water or railroad freight transportation instead of using the highway mode, if railroad or inland water transportation is more expensive than trucking. Its purpose is to support a modal shift, which will generate social and environmental benefits from reducing transportation on the roads of the United Kingdom.
