Introducing Context-Sensitive Solutions to the Next Generation of Transportation Professionals
This article briefly describes the partnering of the Center for Transportation and the Environment, North Carolina State University, and the North Carolina Department of Transportation on initiatives to train graduate and undergraduate engineering students in developing and applying context-sensitive solutions (CSS). The programs provide students with valuable experience for their transportation careers, including connections with employers and colleagues.
