Transport Outlook 2009 - Globalisation, Crisis and Transport

This report addresses globalization, transportation and the current economic crisis, and how these factors interact. If discusses the evolution of the gross domestic product (GDP) and how the GDP interacts with investments in transportation infrastructure and with transportation demand. It attempts to discern the potential impacts of the financial and economic crisis. In addition, projections are made for transportation demand in the modes of highways, maritime, and air transportation.
