Analysis of Environmental and Technical Adaptability for People with Limited Mobility in Lithuania
The data of migration people with limited mobility (kids, aged and disabled) in Lithuania are presented for all kinds of public transport. According to the analysis, 40 percent of people have limited ability to transportation. The environmental ergonomics and perception ability of such people are analyzed. The requirements of safety in transportation for wheelchair users by buses and coaches are discussed on the basis of simulation and modeling. The optional restrain system and accessories for long distance buses are a proposed Lithuanian program for integration of disabled people into the community is proposed.
