Accessible Public Transport in Argentina
This paper describes how there is 10,000 units of buses in the province of Buenos Aires (urban and suburban areas), 1,300 of theses buses are adapted transport units (Low floor systems). In Argentina (Buenos Aires City), subways are composed sixty eight stations that are divided into five lines that interbreed in radial and linear ways. The percentage of fulfillment with regard to the in force legislation would be about of 10 % of the whole net. The enunciated works have been stopped since the year 2000. There is also a railroad network composed of two hundred fifty eight stations (258) divided in three companies that relies on a total of six hundreds thirty (630) diesel units and seven hundred thirty six (736) electrical traction units. At present there are fourteen (14) adapted stations and the works of the Railroad terminal stations of three of the companies are in execution. The enunciated works have been stopped since the year 2000 and they are starting again this year.
