Comparative Study about Urban Transportation Policy in Province of Japan and France
This paper compares Japan and France with regard to organization, source of revenues, planning systems, and decision making processes of urban transportation. The paper considers both country's characteristic and suggests examination techniques for realizing central city areas in vitality. Plural policies in the city center are practiced coherently by administration in France, but in Japan, many people don’t recognize the importance of this. Before public transport passengers decline, policies about transportation in city center area should be practiced by city administrator.
