SIMAURIF: An Integrated Land-Use Transportation Model in Paris Region
This paper describes the first part of an integrated and dynamic land-use transportation model for the Paris Region. It uses three existing models: UrbanSim (a land use model), Davisum-METROPOLIS (a dynamic traffic model) and a travel demand model. The project uses the micro-simulation technique, the discrete choice theory and a grid of 50 000 square cells. The period of calibration runs from 1990 to 1999, the period of simulation from 1999 to 2026. SIMAURIF will be used to forecast the 2026 land use of Paris Region as well as the distribution of households and jobs among cells.
