CALCULATION OF OSCILLATIONS OF HYDRODYNAMIC FORCES AND MOMENTS DURING OPERATION OF A SCREW IN A NONUNIFORM WAKE RASCHET KOLEBANII GIDRODINAMICHESKIKH SIL I MOMENTOV PRI RABOTE VINTA V NERAVHOMERHOM POPUTNOM POTOKE
This paper sets forth a simplified method of calculation of the oscillations of all six components of hydrodynamic forces and moments during operation of a screw in the nonuniform flow behind a vessel, based on a quasistationary approach to the determination of instantaneous forces on the propeller blades and the use of hydrodynamic characteristics of the cross section of the blades operating in a lattice. The presented material can be used for the design of propellers or the working out of measures for modernization of the deadwood apparatus of ocean vessels for the evaluation of the forces that are exerted on the screws and are transmitted to the shaft.
