ICING OF SHIPS
The increasing use of Arctic shipping lanes by the Soviet Union has focused attention on the problem of icing of ships, mainly from sea spray formed during strong wave motion or as a combination of precipitation and spray. Icing conditions are analyzed on the basis of Soviet and non-Soviet observations. /Author/
