ANALOGY IN THE CAUSE OF DELIVERY BREAKDOWN OF A CENTRIFUGAL PUMP DURING CAVITATION AND PUMPING OF FINELY DISPERSED LIQUID-GAS MIXTURES
An examination is made of the causes of delivery breakdown in centrifugal pumps. The causes were found to be analogous during cavitation and in the pumping of finely dispersed liquid-gas mixtures. This makes it possible to work out a unified method for computing the delivery breakdown conditions of a centrifugal pump.
