Arriva Seeks Stronger German Position
The views of Klaus Jacobs, chief executive officer of German independent bus and rail operator Arriva, on the state of the market are presented. While conceding that the position of German Rail (DB), which dominates the market, will be consolidated after its partial privatization, he discusses ways in which Arriva, which has already made a large impact in a relatively short time, seeks a stronger German position.
