Moving People, Moving Forward

The Point Grey campus of the University of British Columbia (UBC) uses a range of transportation demand management (TDM) solutions developed by its TREK (Trip Reduction, Research, Education, and Knowledge) Program Centre, which was created in 1997. These include the strategic transportation plan (STP) and the Universal Transit Pass (U-PASS) program. Trip reduction statistics and measures of success are discussed. Future UBC plans include having a carbon neutral campus by 2010 and expanding the TDM program.
