Preparing for change
This article describes the features of a recent FEHRL conference in Brussels, with a focus on what effect climate change will have on road design, construction and safety. The main aims of the workshop were to share available knowledge between the key stakeholders; to investigate the consequences of climate change for infrastructure; to prepare a collaborative programme of research on climate change and help create an environment for greater coordination of research.
