Soaking up sound
Tyre-to-road noise is a hotly debated topic, with many believing a quiet life could mean more dangerous driving. However, recent developments could spell a peaceful and profitable future for the tyre industry. This article discusses a commission by the European Commission to assess the effects of the EU noise legislation. The findings are discussed along with efforts to understand and reduce tyre noise.
