SYMPOSION 77. REFERATE, ERGEBNISSE UND FOLGERUNGEN DES SYMPOSIONS "UNFALLFORSCHUNG UND VERKEHRSSICHERHEIT" DER BUNDESANSTALT FUER STRASSENWESEN AM 8. NOVEMBER 1977 IN BONN

On the 8th November 1977 the Federal German Establishment for Highways held a one day symposium on the them "Accident research and road safety" at the Beethoven Hall in Bonn. Experts from the scientific world, from government departments, institutions and industry presented the current situation of accident research using the following five subject groups: (a) accident occurrence and vehicle safety; (b) research on behaviour in road traffic; (c) driving tuition, driving tests and further instruction; (d) the effectiveness and efficiency of road safety measures; (e) the operation of traffic and of road safety. Based on the papers and discussions following them results and conclusions were obtained in each subject group. This volume contains the opening papers, the reports on the subject groups and results and conclusions. /TRRL/
