Containerization and Related Trends at Texas Deep Water Ports
This report is the second Product developed from Study 0-5538. It addresses the requirements described in Task 5: A forecast of container volumes through the Houston terminals based on time series data and a review of the current status of container distribution and activities at other Texas deep water ports contemplating container business. In summary, it was found that container growth is proceeding at a robust but manageable pace although it remains geographically concentrated around the Houston ship channel.
