PAVEMENTS AND SLABS ON GRADE WITH STRUCTURALLY ACTIVE REINFORCEMENT
This paper gives the theoretical analyses for the various load cases, and summarizes the results in simple design diagrams. A review of tests carried out shows the reliability of these results. Also the influence of temperature and shrinkage effects are treated and simple formulas are given for the joint design. A design example shows the method of calculation and the use of the diagrams.
