VAK-strategia 2006-2015. Vaarallisten aineiden kuljetus Suomessa. Seurantaraportti
Finland, the strategy vision and realisation of actions as well as the results are regularly reported to the Advisory Committee on the transport of dangerous goods. The aim of this first follow-up report of the TDG strategy is to perceive how the vision and procedures defined in the strategy were actualised during the first strategy period of 2006-2007. The evaluation of the realization of the strategy will be completed separately at the end of the strategy period. The TDG strategy was published two years ago in 2006. During the follow-up period there have been significant changes in the TDG sector amongst others in legislation, in the operations of authorities and in the international field. According to the currently implemented follow-up, the TDG strategy has been identified important for organisations and also generally for the TDG sector. The organisations have also concretely utilized the strategy in their operational activities. The strategy received plenty of positive feedback on its comprehensive approach and on clarifying the entire TDG field and the roles of the actors.
