Rivermen's Lingo

Individuals working on the rivers of the United States consider themselves "rivermen" or "brown water sailors", distinct from those working on the oceans or "blue waters". A unique vocabulary exists which distinguishes rivermen from blue water men. Distinct words are discussed.
