Study of GPS Mobile System Design in Intelligent Traffic System
This article reports on a study undertaken to analyze the practical applications of global positioning systems (GPS) in intelligent traffic systems. The authors describe a design of a GPS mobile system that combines GPS, Gyrostat, GPRS, and GIS. The authors evaluate this combined system and conclude that its location precision is between 4 meters and 7 meters. This is more accurate than the general GPS alone.
