PETRA - The Licence Holding Model. PETRA Working Paper No. 4
The licence-holding status of individual family members is a significant factor in decisions over modal choice for particular journeys, for all members of the family. It is also a central factor in describing the car ownership status of the family. This paper present the disaggregate drivers licence holding model, LICENCE, which assigns licences to the individual members of the family in the PETRA model system. The assignment is based on the specific characteristics of the individual members, and relies on cross-sectional data.
