Framework for LTPP Forensic Investigations--Final
The purpose of this document is to provide a framework for forensic investigations at Long-Term Pavement Performance (LTPP) test sections. The framework is intended to promote consistency and uniformity within the program and to ensure that maximum benefit is derived from the investigations. The proposed LTPP forensic investigation framework consists of the following three elements: (1) Recommendation for forensic investigation; (2) Development of forensic investigation plan; and (3) Implementation of forensic investigation plan. This document provides details on the activities to be performed in each element and the assignment of responsibilities.
